Step right up.
You’re in the right place if:
Anything with a screen is high tech.
You like having your car washed and waxed by someone else.
A “hard drive” is the Pacific Coast Highway.
Your photo collection has become the digital equivalent of a stadium flea market.

HOW IT WORKS
1
GET EVERYTHING IN ONE PLACE
We will go over your current collection status and identify goals for the project. We inventory all the sources and collect all the media in one place, either by screen sharing or walking you through the process. We may provide a project drive, specify a drive for you to buy, or use online transfers depending on the size of the collection.
2
REMOVE DUPLICATES & MERGE
We start with the master system library, either via screen sharing or fully remote at our studio, and do basic cleanup to eliminate duplicates, delete empty or duplicate albums and streamline the collection. Then we begin the process of de-duplicating the other source files and libraries, merging them together, finally, into the master system library.
3
REVIEW YOUR NEW LIBRARY
Once your collection is merged and curated into one clean master library, we introduce you to your restored photo collection and show you where everything can be found on your devices, along with instructions for managing the collection in an enjoyable and safe way.
“To me, photography is an art of observation. It’s about finding something interesting in an ordinary place . . . I’ve found it has little to do with the things you see and everything to do with the way you see them.”
~ Elliot Erwitt

FAQs
Why should I hire someone to organize my photos?
Photo management is a service like many others. It saves you time and delivers a better result than what you would probably create on your own. In addition, digital photo organizing requires specialty software to efficiently gather pictures on all your devices, fine duplicates, and add searchable data to your photos.
How can you organize my photos?
You would be amazed at how much we can do to straighten out your photo collection with minimal feedback. Of course, the final sorting and categories are a collaborative process based on the on-boarding questionnaire and screen sharing sessions.
Do you work remotely?
Actually, most of our work is remote. Besides the United States, we work with clients in countries like Canada, Australia, the United Kingdom, Switzerland, and Brazil among others. We have several ways of accessing files including online transfer, screen sharing, and shipped hard drives.
What is a “source?”
Digital cameras and scanning have been widely available since the turn of the century more than 20 years ago. Most people have had several computers, mobile phones, cameras, tablets, and other devices, all of which were used for photos. Every one is a potential source for collecting photos and requires copying to a central place where we can compare and merge to make one complete set of all your photos.
How long does a photo organizing project take?
With the right software and hardware, a project is typically at least 10 hours of work. A large, complex project with several sources and heavy editing could take 30 hours or more. One of the key advantages of hiring a pro photo manager to do your organizing is just getting it done. We try to complete a project in 2-3 weeks. Often, our clients come to us after having tried to complete it themselves for months or years.
Do you only work with Apple devices?
We want everyone, regardless of platform, to be able to enjoy their photo collections, but we’ve found that Apple offers an overall better user experience than Windows, so that’s our emphasis. And, as it happens, most of our clients are on Apple technology.
