HOW IT WORKS
1
PLAN THE PROJECT TOGETHER
We will go over your current collection status and identify goals for the project. We inventory all the sources and collect all the media in one place, either by screen sharing or walking you through the process. You will get a list of suggestions for hardware and software.
2
STEP-BY-STEP GUIDANCE
We will discuss and review your progress at each session with action plans for the next session. Most programs also include access via Voxer messaging. Sessions are customized to your specific project.
3
ENJOY THE RESULTS
Once you learn the basic steps and the tricks I show you, your project will be on the way to completion. You’ll gain the confidence to manage your own photo collection and will help guide your family and friends too.

FAQs
I thought Apple automatically organized my photos for me. Why do I need to do it myself?
Apple Photos does an amazing job of managing the pictures you take on your iPhone. But you probably have some photos you’ve added from emails and digital cameras. Then you may have had old family prints scanned to include in your collection. Those photos may need tags or date adjustments to work right. And, Photos offers several clever ways to customize your organizing and make it even better. Some one-to-one coaching or a self-paced course can take your organizing to the next level.
Do I need special software?
Apple devices come with everything most people need to manage their photos and videos. But if your collection has grown really large or you need to merge images from several collections, then there is software that will speed up the process and make it more efficient. We can advise you based on your situation.
My iPhone says I’m out of space. What do I do?
If you take many photos and videos, sooner or later you’ll probably face that challenge. Often, it’s just a case of checking what’s using up the space and deleting anything that’s unnecessary. Or, it may be as simple as a setting adjustment. We can help with all of that.
What is a certified Photo Manager?
Photos are one of the most valuable items most people have. Managing a family photo collection requires some experience and perspective about which photos are important for the long term and which ones aren’t. The Photo Managers is an organization with formal training and standards for certification that ensure you hire a skilled professional. We are one of the first services to be certified by The Photo Managers.
What is a backup?
Digital images are wonderful because we can have decades’ of photos with us to enjoy at all times. But what if your iPhone is damaged? Are those photos somewhere else? What if your home was lost in a disaster and your computer was gone? Backing up your photos and videos is a foundation of good photo management. We help you keep your photo collection safe from damage and loss.
I’d like to work with you, but I’m across the country. How would that work?
Working remotely has become a fact of life and it’s not a big deal. In fact, it’s often better because we’ve found that timing and availability is more flexible. Apple Photos is especially handy because we can join your iCloud Photo Library and organize your photos as if we were sitting in your own home. Otherwise, we will do a screen share and work together online. We can also ship hard drives if that makes sense for the project.
